Engineering Marking Blue

Spanjaard Engineering Marking Blue is a blue marking dye for accurate layout work and scribing on metal surfaces. APPLICATIONS • Used for high precision scribing on metal surfaces. • Assists in detection of protruding points on bearings or other finished metal surfaces. These high points will form easily visible ’scratch’ marks on the neighbouring blue-coated metal surface. DIRECTIONS FOR USE 1) Shake well before use. 2) Ensure metal surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of oil. 3) Spray a thin even coating onto the surface from a distance of 10-20 cm. 4) Allow to dry and mark as required. 5) Remove with any petroleum-based solvent. 6) After use, invert can and spray for 3 seconds to clean the nozzle. Appearance: Dark blue transparent liquid. Features: • Quick drying and non-flaking. • Forms a thin, adherent and visibly contrasting film. • Water resistant. • Easily removed with a petroleum-based solvent
